Gosh, I've ALWAYS watched the President's speeches and national addresses, but I don't think I have the fortitude handy for tonight. I'm afraid I'll hear things about "jobs Americans won't do" or guest-worker plans, and frankly, that will just finally push me over. My support of President Bush goes back to his days as governor here in Texas, and he's been great on many issues, but right now my support of him is basically hanging by a thread, and this little speech looks likely to irretrievably cause it to snap. It's really a sad day for me. It's just sickening, seeing the country being thrown away before my eyes, and a leader I once had faith in, now allied alongside the likes of Ted Kennedy, and in the forefront of the nation's headlong descent into third-worldom.
Hopefully he will announce that a fence is going to be built. But I have my doubts.

The whole country's being thrown away, huh. What about that.
You don't think that's a little hyperbolic, do you?
