Diplomats still are talking about a bad-tempered dinner at New York's Waldorf-Astoria Hotel last week at which Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and her Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, traded barbs over Iran's nuclear program. The spat reflected deepening rifts between the United States and Russia and reduced the chances for big-power cooperation on the Iran crisis. The tension first surfaced at a private meeting hosted by Miss Rice at a suite in the hotel for the Russian, British, French, German and Chinese foreign ministers, and spilled over into a delayed dinner.

Soooo, how would the reporter know barbs we traded? Strictly a guess on my part with regard to the language used.

One would think that Condie, being fluent in Russian, spoke in their native tongue I doubt it, since other UN members were present who do not speak Russian. My guess is they spoke in English.

The Russians. Sucked commie dork for a century. Watched their own people put against the wall. Cried a lot. Lip locked Hitlers' short arm over Poland and started WWII, right after they killed off their officer corps. Have done nothing for anyone for 60 years. Are broke. Half their males are dead by 40 and their women looking to leave with anyone. Have a weasel KGB punk calling the shots. And, like, we are supposed to care about their low self esteem loser asses, and somehow keep Russian hating Muslims wack jobs from building Russian nuclear missiles from dropping on their heads?
I
don't
think
so.
