This issue was not a big deal a mere 18 months ago in the election. All of a sudden it's the ONLY issue that matters. What nonsense.
The President's position on this issue hasn't changed since 1999. The eventual bill that gets through Congress will be much closer to his proposal than Tancredo's.
Tonight on the Live Thread we'll see attacks on the President that will exceed anything directed at Clinton, Kerry, Gore or any other 'Rat. They'll need a double shift of Mods tonight -- like having extra cops on holiday driving weekends.

Oh, he'll show some spine alright. He'll show us the big plan signed by his father H.W. Bush, Agenda 21. We already know what the meeting was about between Canada, Mexico and the USA. It was all about the "secure zone" which is to be around the perimeter of the big 3 in North America. Never mind sovereign borders. Gee, do you suppose that could the situation because there is actually legislation being drafted now and there wasn't 18 months ago? You are trying to deflect from the fact that the political injuries Bush is suffering here are entirely self-inflicted.
