Is there anything significant about a machete with this illegal bunch? Like some symbolism? (Like the Gadsden flag would be to me?)

Reason I ask is there is this mexican man that walks down our dirt road (in front of my house) and he always carries a big machete. It's creepy and wierd. Just wonder if it was "symbolic" to the "movement"? Or just a scare tactic. *What's that say on that giant machete?

We had a nutcase running the street here awhile back threatening people with a machete, yes he was Mexican, {BTW this was on the scanner} and when one cop asked dispatch for a description, she snortled and said HOW many guys are in that area running around with a machete?!

Overall, I'm not sure. Generally speaking, from a birds-eye-view on the streets, they are fed up with it too. This weekend my husband was aggressively "approached" by a hispanic man who didn't like my husbands T-shirt & ball cap. The man started mouthing off and poking his finger toward my husband griping, etc, about illegals "rights." My husband didn't hold-any-bars, was right back in his face. (All this was going on at a large, heavily attended gas station convient store.) The man ended up backing off, tail between his legs. When my husband turned to go into the store, there stood a REALLY BIG black man. He told my husband he saw and heard it all and came over to protect my husband if he had to. The guy said he was sick of this mess too. That's the kind of stuff we are hearing on the streets here.

Yep, be careful.. there was a story yesterday about a woman that called ICE about a neighbor who she thought was an illegal, ICE didn't pursue it. Anyway, sometime later the lady was stabbed 86 times by the illegal. If I run across the link again, I'll post it.
