I was very impressed with Mary Cheney.

I thought I saw a lot of her dad in her. I wish Cheney's health was better, I'd love to see him run for President... can you see a debate between him and Hillary?

A question about ethanol -

Filling stations have to have their tanks cleaned before the new mixtures can be put in tanks that had the gas with MBTE added. Money and time = higher gas prices.

Why don't our cars' gas tanks and engines suffer from one tankful with MBTE followed by the next tankful with the gas/ethanol mixture? Class action suits in the green rooms waiting until our cars cough and splutter, or totally unnecessary the song and dance of conversion at fuel stations?

No... I don't think that could get past confirmation. Heck, Cheney couldn't get past confirmation which is what would make it so much fun to watch them all squirm... because we all know after today that it was Dick Cheney that pushed for NSA to do the domestic surveilance. If their sign up dates are 98-99 or about that time, that was when FR was the only thing of it's kind and before Democrap Underground was established. I should say before DU crawled out from under a rock. My point is that there are an awful lot of posters that have non newbie sign up dates that are DUmmies and disrupter's and have not been bounced yet.

I can't find it right now, but have read that instead of 11 million, it could be closer to 25 or 30+ million.

A.H., I agree w you to some extent and don't think the ridiculous bill the Senate originally put forward would have a chance of passing - - the House would never let it out of committe. However, the issue I have is that the Mexican Catholics you mention 1) don't always seem to want to assimilate (based on what I saw during the rallies; 2) many are being influenced by Mecha and La Raza; and 3) there are many illegals from other countries as well (Ireland, Russia, China, etc.).

Richard Lamm, a Democrat and former governor of Colorada (1975-1987), gave the following speech before a 2004 immigration-overpopulation conference. It is worth quoting, in its entirety:

I HAVE A PLAN TO DESTROY AMERICA RICHARD D. LAMM

I HAVE A SECRET PLAN TO DESTROY AMERICA. IF YOU BELIEVE, AS MANY DO, THAT AMERICA IS TOO SMUG, TOO WHITE BREAD, TOO SELF-SATISFIED, TOO RICH, LETS DESTROY AMERICA. IT IS NOT THAT HARD TO DO. IV. HAVING DONE ALL THIS, I WOULD MAKE OUR FASTEST GROWING DEMOGRAPHIC GROUP THE LEAST EDUCATED - I WOULD ADD A SECOND UNDERCLASS, UNASSIMILATED, UNDEREDUCATED, AND ANTAGONISTIC TO OUR POPULATION. I WOULD HAVE THIS SECOND UNDERCLASS HAVE A 50% DROP OUT RATE FROM SCHOOL.

V. I WOULD THEN GET THE BIG FOUNDATIONS AND BIG BUSINESS TO GIVE THESE EFFORTS LOTS OF MONEY. I WOULD INVEST IN ETHNIC IDENTITY, AND I WOULD ESTABLISH THE CULT OF VICTIMOLOGY. I WOULD GET ALL MINORITIES TO THINK THEIR LACK OF SUCCESS WAS ALL THE FAULT OF THE MAJORITY - I WOULD START A GRIEVANCE INDUSTRY BLAMING ALL MINORITY FAILURE ON THE MAJORITY POPULATION.

VI. I WOULD ESTABLISH DUAL CITIZENSHIP AND PROMOTE DIVIDED LOYALTIES. I WOULD “CELEBRATE DIVERSITY.” “DIVERSITY” IS A WONDERFULLY SEDUCTIVE WORD. IT STRESSES DIFFERENCES RATHER THAN COMMONALITIES. PEOPLE UNDERVALUE THE UNITY IT TAKES TO KEEP A NATION TOGETHER, AND WE CAN TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS MYOPIA. LOOK AT THE ANCIENT GREEKS. DORF’S WORLD HISTORY TELLS US:

THE GREEKS BELIEVED THAT THEY BELONGED TO THE SAME RACE; THEY POSSESSED A COMMON LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE; AND THEY WORSHIPED THE SAME GODS. ALL GREECE TOOK PART IN THE OLYMPIC GAMES IN HONOR OF ZEUS AND ALL GREEKS VENERATED THE SHRINE OF APOLLO AT DELPHI. A COMMON ENEMY PERSIA THREATENED THEIR LIBERTY. VII. THEN I WOULD PLACE ALL THESE SUBJECTS OFF LIMITS - MAKE IT TABOO TO TALK ABOUT. I WOULD FIND A WORD SIMILAR TO “HERETIC” IN THE 16TH CENTURY - THAT STOPPED DISCUSSION AND PARALYZED THINKING. WORDS LIKE “RACIST”, “XENOPHOBE” THAT HALTS ARGUMENT AND CONVERSATION.

HAVING MADE AMERICA A BILINGUAL-BICULTURAL COUNTRY, HAVING ESTABLISHED MULTICULTURALISM, HAVING THE LARGE FOUNDATIONS FUND THE DOCTRINE OF “VICTIMOLOGY”, I WOULD NEXT MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO ENFORCE OUR IMMIGRATION LAWS. I WOULD DEVELOP A MANTRA - “THAT BECAUSE IMMIGRATION HAS BEEN GOOD FOR AMERICA, IT MUST ALWAYS BE GOOD.” I WOULD MAKE EVERY INDIVIDUAL IMMIGRANT SYMPATRIC AND IGNORE THE CUMULATIVE IMPACT.
