It just seems so obvious Victorygal. Thats quite a turn around as I sure as heck don't recall W ever saying he advocated putting troops on the border. I figure both W and McCain asked themselves " now, what could we do to shut these people up ( us and quite a few dems )while we work out an amnesty program. "
maybe they think we'll all figure ok, fine - after this group of 13 million there wont be any more ever again because of the troops.

Crossed my mind too. Bush and McCain, are closely linked together on this immigration issue, just as they were on CFR and the anti-torture legislation. Two peas in a pod. Open borders and illegal immigration has always been the position of liberals like Ted Kennedy and political libertarians. What does that make Bush and McCain?
