Chris has already been offered the job as lead singer for Fuel...he sang their song Hemmorage in an earlier performance. Regardless of what he does after his contractual obligation to AI, he will be a household name in the music world within 5 years IMHO. I thought only the winner had a contractual obligation to AI.

The final 10 or 12 are obligated to go on tour for the summer and I'm not sure beyond that.

The top 10 have a short contractual obligation for a tour.

I thought only the winner had a contractual obligation to AI. AI/19 Entertainment own the finalists (top 12) for a year, with (I think) option on each to pay $1M to make it three years. The winner is guaranteed an album (and none of the other 11 can release an album before then), and a larger up-front payment. The others will likely be allowed to record on other labels if 19E doesn't want to, as long as 19E gets a cut.
