Happy Mothers' Day to you and your family, potlatch!
Hugs!!!
Arrogant is the word that comes closest as a description and reponse to this atrocious behavior.
The man is utterly corrupt. I guess the only question is, for how long has this been so?
And why would any self-respecting American support his run for the presidency?
Velly plitty.
I heard when he ran in 2000 that most of his constituents disliked him intensly. Heaven only knows why he's been able to gleen so much power from the GOP side.
Most of his buddies are on the opposite side of the aisle, that should tell everyone something, shouldn't it?
I will not vote for him in the primaries and we will all need to spread the word to everyone we know not to vote for him. I know he has hired the people who helped get President Bush elected, I swear I'll puke if Rove goes to work for him.
Rove=*gag me*
I mean that literally; I'm biting my tongue.
McCain is in good with the party machine, which says something about the party. Since as you say, at the same time, his buds have 'D' after their names.
He also came here to CA to campaign for Ah-nolt is doing same re Perry in TX.
We're up against the (bi-partisan?) machine.
I fear you are correct and it scares the heck out of me, he will destroy our country as badly as Hillary. As a matter of fact, I don't see a big difference between them.
...the dorms where the single, wounded troops reside.
I took Lyman to a resident hotel type building called Mologne House. It is used primarily as a step down from the hospital. While there are single residents, families that are able to be with their loved ones, live here with them.
The dorms were across the way. WR is a huge complex and I tried to give Lyman the nickel tour within his limited time frame.
It was a tremendous honor to meet Lyman and ride in the awesome Spirit of Allegiance! Our wounded heroes were excited about seeing it and had many wonderful things to say about Lyman and his car when I visited them again later that night.
Thank you Lyman for thinking of our wounded warriors and honoring them with your time outside and inside the gate.
This post was to you!
LOL. I'd like to think I don't do that on the phone, although as a LAST RESORT I can go into a rant of sorts.
I'm on the phone a lot for work, so I've developed some techniques for being effective.
Their mistake at McCain's office is that they're hostile from the get-go, which is going to make their callers more abusive. There are ways to keep that under control.
But, they don't CARE.
well neither does their boss, I mean look he doesn't even vote today, what does that say? The man is a schizo basket headcase
During the Washington DC event Fri 5.12.06, awaiting my opportunity to lead the singing of our National Anthem with Jim Gilchrist, I stood behind Ted Hayes, to his left. We heard protesters shouting, "We can't see your hoods!" implying that Minuteman supporters are KKK members. Ted raised the flag shrouding his shoulders to briefly cover his head, intended as a witty retort to the protesters.

Thanks for the explanation.
I enjoyed your presentation at the Rally ... nice to have you here on Free Republic. Now I know who you are; C-Span didn't display your name.
I hope the Minutemen are not sensitive about my observations re Ted Hayes, although I suspect they are since my e-mails and voice mails have not been answered. Some of us feel that conservative, dignified behavior is the best way to go. And, as far as I could see, the majority of Minutemen and Minutewomen conduct themselves with self-control.
Thanks!
Re. email replies - busy folks can barely keep up with life & paperwork, let alone email! :-)
Re. dignified behavior, well that's the way I was raised; it doesn't seem to be "the way of the world." Perhaps as long as all support the same core message, some variance in presentation is acceptable, allowing for different localizations, "hearing it in their own dialect"?
It's funny if you think about it... in Beverly Hills, baggy denim & dreadlocks is a scary sight; while to da boyz in da hood, men in suits may seem equally threatening...
Ahhh, style & substance, oft intertwined...
Thanks for your diligence!
Thank YOU for your thoughtfulness! I understand your message.
I hope to see you around here more; there will be some Caravan after-reports posted on forum and I will ping you to that.
Are you an east-coaster?
Oops, just looked at your homepage.
I thought you looked familiar!
