A good portion of them are paid opinion shapers and some are garden variety trolls.

WRONG. The anaology works (no analogy is perfect) because there is a lag between input, the response, the inadequacy of the response and the future result.
Bush is "captain" now. There is a problem now, that will mature in the near future.
Beyond that there CANNOT in a just nation be TWO ways to get into the country, one legal and ardous and the other illegal and easy.
Beyond even that: They promised me the first time in '86 that "this would be it" on amnesty. Now I will accept NOTHING but justice from here on in--and I don't care how the hell hard it is to do.
As far as "hard stats": it is a pretty damn stupid question in that ILLEGAL types aren't going check the box as they pass the immigration official. I want LEGAL citizens ONLY--no ILLEGAL!
