Well duh!!! Most babies comeout crying when they are born? Do you think they just started doing that for the first time? No, it was a learned behavior in the womb with lots of practice. I remember when I was pg with both my boys when I would lay down in certain positions they would start to give me kicks and move around quickly. I realized than my boys didn't like how I was laying and were showing me that it upset them. Babies don't come out of the womb and just automatically have a personality. Their personalities were shaped and formed in the womb.
No kidding. Their brains are active and they hear a lot of sounds. Some people treat newborns as if the babies are not capable of much. My wife and I had to tell one couple to talk to their child after he was born. The parents were both college graduates.

Well said, Mommy.
(That Mommy (and Daddy) thing-there is NO more important job, including neurosurgeon, top-flight attorney, corrupt Senator, or real estate magnate among others).
Children are among God's greatest gifts, and they arrive from the womb already remarkably complete.
Truly miraculous.
