""The prophecies of Daniel have decreed that the fate of the world lies in an empire called Persia. On four occassions, Daniel writes, kingdoms from this eastern empire will rise up and cross the Euphrates river to challenge the western nations -- a coalition of kingdoms which the Bible collectively calls 'Babylon'.
According to Daniel, the culmination of these four hostile invasions into the lands of Christianity will be the fateful appearance of the fourth and last Persian empire. The world's end, this visionary explains, and all the tribulation and warfare preceding it, will come to pass in the birth and growth of this fourth eastern league of nations."

I notice your HTML called "good news". I disagree with the philosophy that the world will end. Daniel talks about an ascension of kingdoms down to what is called the "end times". Because Christ is going to rule for 1,000 years AND, because the last chapter of Revelations says that God will spread his tent of makind indefinately, I am appalled that fear mongering has replaced hope for man by religion. I live in faith for something better, not by fear.
If Jesus Himself sufferred the cross, while being completely innocent and divine what would lead you to believe Christians will not suffer?
Indeed they are, terribly in some parts of the world already.
I do not see it as a philosophy, Biblical prophecy always comes true without exception.
"I am appalled that fear mongering has replaced hope for man by religion. I live in faith for something better, not by fear."
Im not fearful of death, if I didnt know who owns my soul then I would be and have every reason to.
My faith is in the Way, The truth, and The life. This world will come to a rough end eventually as predicted, but my house is being prepared in Heaven.
If you dont believe the world will end then what was Daniel talking about "End Times" for?
Moreover, Jesus spoke of it too.
The question isnt if, but when.
Anyway ,thanks for checking the link out and for the reply.
But those who trust God do not have to fear man.
Even Iranian nut cases with nukes.
