Who was the first to declare a State of emergency on the border? The democrat Governor of New Mexico.

Is this a plan by the democrats to gain power? Yes but only by effectively making the border an issue in such a way as to instigate people like you to suffer hysterics about it.

The fact is the border is NOT "open". There are fences and walls at certain places, and illegals are caught and shipped back to Mexico.

My advice to you is don't vote for Bush. lol
