Actually that was Chief Moose. But it was amazing how fast some were so sure it was a hispanic gang and when found it was a messed up white guy goth, the "air" went out out of this thread.
I seem to recall that about 10 or so years ago a goth guy tripping on LSD grabbed the gun of a FX county officer and shot him.
That's because it's pretty easy to determine at that point it probably wasn't terrorist or gang related.
Unless you know of some pretty nasty, pasty white Goth gangs running about.
Chief Moose never said one word about the appearance or identity of the sniper suspects.
It's truly remarkable how people are unable to remember even recent history accurately.
Neither Moose or any other law enforcement source ever publicly identified the DC sniper suspects as white. ALL there was was the stuff about a white panel van or truck.
The ONLY people who ever mentioned the sniper suspects were white were outside consultants brought in by the various cable news networks, who had no connection to the case, who were simply profiling to fill time on the networks.
