Barbara Cubin isn't all that popular even among some fellow Republicans. If you look at all the poll results, it shows that Craig Thomas is polling about 30 points ahead.
I saw a blog site in which a self-described Republican described Cubin as lazy and not very good at constituant service. Also, I've heard that her attendance record isn't all that great.

Yeah, I've heard these comments before. Her re-election totals generally aren't spectactular.
