Titanic was one of the last major historical events where chivalry played the major role in deciding who lived and who died. Most of the women and children survived. Most of the men did not.

I wonder if we would see such a display of chivalry today. I suspect we would not.

If the libs were in charge, only the "poor and oppressed" would get in the lifeboats.

I was thinking of the many brave men who gave up their seats so the women and children could be spared.They had courage,and, honor still meant something.But the hell the men, who only thought of their own skin had to live with afterwords,must have been worse.If I remember,some of those men were shamed to death.Chivalry is still around,but has become a pox on a small minority of people.Now-days,you have to wonder whether or not to hold a door for a woman.

Of course not!!! Feminists wouldn't allow it. They would complain about the glass ceiling preventing women from achieiving the same status as men as heroic figures.
