German chancellor Angela Merkel was here on a two day visit to meet President Bush. Hillary sought to meet with Merkel as a symbol of the power of women in politics. Merkel had other priorities so not interested, declined and met instead the CEOs of General Electric, Monsanto, Hewlett-Packard, Dow Chemical, Siemens and DaimlerChrysler.

Actually, the real two power women, Merkel and Rice met & discussed the real top issue of the day, the threat of a nuclear Iran.

Great post on Merkel ignoring Hillary for the Business/Corporate People. She has to get Germany back in the red somehow they are in such a mess, and most of the mess was created by her predecessor and his inability to do anything but trash the USA.
