I am embarrassed to say that I am unsure of the date of the Chappaquidick "killing"...but, if Teddy was anywhere near the age that Patrick is now...

Patrick should see this as a sign that HE better get his act together...because he is darned lucky that he didn't kill anyone the other night...

However, I still wouldn't put it past the MSM, the dems, and even maybe the courts to give him the same pass as his father got...

sigh

Ugh. I can't stand Dobbs. He just comes across as a head of hot air to me, and I can't sit through his show. Think he just rubs me the wrong way. Maybe it's the fact that he's on CNN that I can't get over.

As we both know anything the rats say, especially over and over, believe the opposite. It's a little joke they try and play on us but seldom works.

It's tough to watch Dobbs simply because he is on CNN!! But he does have a relevant message out there and has been very consistently demanding that we secure the borders. At leas on that issue I agree with him.

If you don't know whether or not your going to sit out the next election, watching Russert interviewing Pelosi on Sunday was the cold water that woke me up.

The Dem plan is simple. Take control and then begin an endless series of investigations and hearings of Republicans. As for her insistence that impeachment is not on the agenda, watch how fast that stance changes if she becomes Speaker of the House.

You are part of the whining, woe is me, faction and I'm part of the can do, life will be better faction. In your world, all is miserty. In mine, I strive to reach my goals, no matter how difficult the road.

You are soo stupid I cant believe it. I talk about understanding what is in political polls so you are not blindsided like those ostritches sticking their heads in the sand and you acuse me of whinning. Frankly I think you are so deluded by slogans that you've lost touch with the real world. Enjoy your delusions. Hope your congress critter isnt similarly deluded or we may face Speaker Pelosi in January.

Actually a several years ago he quit CNN for trying to interfere with his programming (the prior head at CNN wanted him to go more liberal in his programming and he refused), they convinced him to return when this latest head took over a couple of years ago. I don't watch some of his show, but I watch a lot of it --

I am disgusted at how out of touch the Beltway Boys and Bill Kristol have been lately and can't listen to them give their opinion of how the American people are thinking.

Yes, Samantha, I can't tell you how often I decide somebody must be a good guy because of who hates him or who finds it imperative to stop him. When we don't have enough known facts ourselves, we're sort of forced to decide on stuff like that. Who's fer 'im; who's agin' 'im.

Also I did a search on General Hayden and found rabid lefty sites that despise him. Obviously many of them hate him because of electronic eavesdropping on terrorists. IOW judging both of them by their enemies makes them look damn good.

OTOH Negroponte didn't think the huge cache of Saddam's documents was important. At least that's what we were told. Maybe he meant not as important as translating some other huge pile of info which contained more immediately pressing dangers with our limited translating ability.

He does evidentally have the backing of GWB and I have to believe that's based on some prior good things he's done. Maybe something he did in South/Latin America that you refer to. It may very well be something very important behind the scenes that we'll never know about. I hope so and I hope he's right.

What I worry about is GWB's sense of loyalty that occasionally extends to backstabbers like Ted Kennedy, Powell or Putin.

My biggest concern is the dozens of investigations that are supposed to be going on following Mary McCarthy's firing. If Negroponte and Hayden are on board for that, then I'm happy and relieved. (Not that it would change anything if I weren't.)

I got to watch a re run of russet interviewing the bush look alike comedian. It was a good interview and the man was quite complimentary about the President. The other two guests were not amused at all.

"And to get their act together on amnesty for illegals. IMO, that's the #1 issue that will cause Republicans to sit out the elections in protest. I for one am very tempted to do just that, but we'll see how things look in November."

Snip*******

So your upset about the Illegals so your solution is to sit out the election in Nov so the Democrats, who blocked the significant parts of the US House Republican's bill on enforcement and border control being added to the Senate bill, can be in power?

Somewhere on Free Republic was a poll where 13% of FReepers wanted to see the dems win (I imagine to punish the republicans for not being conservative enough). I hope this amounts to a negligible segment of our voting base. In any case, they seem to be a pretty vocal group here.

13% of (not Freepers actually mostly votes by "non Freeper members") are DNC stooges pretending to be "Conservative" or third party lunatics hoping to convert the heathens to their faith. That 13% was not going to Vote Republican under any circumstances. They are not our "Base". It is one of the most loathsome practice of the Left and the Lunatic Fringe, this habit of lying about their real agenda to try and gain credibility by claiming to be "Life Long Republicans whose fed up with the GOP". This losers do this same crap every election year. I, for one, am sick of it. Cannot stand this intellectual cowardice.

Biden's new plan is an "old" plan Yeah, that's why I put it in quotes. I should have just put the quotes around "new."

Guess Biden has beein listening to the Boys from Oz

Song: Everything Old Is New Again Lyrics

When trumpets were mellow And ev'ry gal only had one fellow No need to remember when 'Cause ev'ry thing old is new again

(Dancin' at) Your Long Island Jazz Age parties Waiter, bring us more Bacardis We'll order now what they ordered then 'Cause ev'ry thing old is new again

Get out your white suit, your tap shoes and tails Let's go backwards when all else(forward) fails And movie stars you thought were long dead Now are framed beside your bed

I don't see that the Democrats have anything to do with it. It's a Republican Senatorial betrayal, exclusively

Co sponsors for the bill in the US Senate is Ted Kennedy. Every Democrat Senator voted for the bill and voted to block putting the Enforcement measures in the the Senate bill from the US House Republican bill. To say the above indicates one of two things. Your are not paying even the slightest bit of attention to reality or you are a DNC stooge pretending to be a "Betrayed Conservative".

congressman, I remind them that the most important vote said congressman makes is the vote for Speaker and Majority Leader

Followed by their vote for the 3-4 new Supreme Court Justices that will be nominated, and thousands of Federal Judges who will be put in place, in the next few years. "Betrayed Conservatives" casting a "protest vote" are either complete political imbeciles or Democrat pretending to be Republicans. Hard to tell if they are merely fools or active frauds.
