"indistinguishable from rats"

OK. We could go around in circles on this one and not get anywhere. I would imagine that your conservative principles are not too far different from mine. We disagree right now on how to move forward. If I had any easy answers that were sure to work I'd offer them, but I don't think there are any sure ways of getting there. And certainly not any easy ones. Voting for 3rd party candidates or sitting out the election will not help, in my opinion. You might as well go and vote for the Democrats.

Let's watch and see what happens should the Democrats take control of one or both of the houses. My thinking is that with Democrat majorities we will get even more spending, higher taxes, less immigration control, more health care entitlements, fewer strict constructionist judges, and (what I think is most important right now) a less serious war effort. As much as I may not like some things that are coming out of a Republican administration and Republican majorities in congress I have even less desire to see the Democrats control any branch of government.

In all seriousness, I think you will be able to distinguish between conditions now, and conditions under Democrat control.

Not all republicans, but many in my area are no longer listening to the people. On a state level on taxes on a national level immigration. Those that do not listen I will not vote for. Period.
