He is no martyr. Never will be.

It's about what the convicted would consider as punishment. He would think it's glorious to be executed. He has no fear of it. However, I'm sure he doesn't want to rot in prison.

Well he can rot for about 12-15 years and then die. He would probably waive most of the appeals process!
