Three Iraqis slipped into the US over the weekend
HARLINGEN NEWSCHANNEL 5 is tracking information on three Iraqis who slipped into the Valley over the weekend.
Were told the men are each in their early 20s. They were caught near the Los Indios International Bridge near Harlingen on Saturday. FBI agents say the men claim to be Christians who are afraid they will face persecution if they are returned to Iraq.
Before they were caught at the border, the men were arrested in Mexico carrying Greek passports. They were held almost a month for entering Mexico illegally. But were told the Mexican government released them and told them to go north.
Were told they are still in the Valley and are being questioned about why and how they got here.
Since October, 11 Iraqis have been caught entering the U.S. illegally.
Many of the comments on this thread are ridiculous.
This is GOOD NEWS, people. The bad guys were caught, as they are daily. Our folks are doing a better job than you give them credit for.
There are times when Gloom and Doom reign on FR.
Flame on, naysayers.
Why I had no idea the Chinese Nationalists were the Taiwanese. I did mean the Red Chinese.
"While watching the million-Manuel "Uno de Mayo" celebrations on MSM last night, I wonder if anyone of our congresscritters (or perhaps the POTUS himself) were asking themselves:
What would we do if all those people were muslim terrorists?"
WHEN I FILLED OUT AN APPLICATION FOR US CITIZANSHIP LAST YEAR I WAS ASKED WHETHER I HAVE EVER BELONGED TO A TERRORIST ORGANIZATION OR A COMMUNIST PARTY. SAME THING I WAS ASKED WHEN I APPLIED FOR A GREEN CARD 6 YEARS AGO. IF I EVER WOULD, I COULD KISS MY CITIZENSHIP GOODBY. HOW COME PEOPLE CELEBRATING THE 1ST OF MAY ARE NOT CONSIDERED COMMUNISTS AND DEPORTED?
