Chicago:

"Chicago-based Azteca Foods Inc. idled all three shifts at his southwest side plant on Monday to allow workers to attend the rally. About 120 of the 140 people who work Azteca took the day off.

“We supported the march and closed our production,” said Mr. Valasquez.

Harry Caray’s restaurant in River North is one of the restaurants that posted the trade group’s notice in the employee break room.

“We told the staff we fully supported them if they wanted to go,” says Grant DePorter, president of Harry Caray’s. “The chef showed up today, on his day off, to make sure there weren’t any issues, and there haven’t been.”

McDonald’s Corp. issued a statement earlier Monday saying it supports comprehensive immigration reform, but noted it’s a complex issue.

“Some of our employees may be participating in today's activities,” the Oak Brook restaurant chain said. “We respect their right to do so. To meet our customers' needs, some of our restaurants may be operating with limited crew, limited hours, or drive-thru service only. “

You post basically proves what I have noticed here in LA today ... that Hispanics are heavily in the food service industry.
