I doubt i'm mistaken, but it is you who will be sorely mistaken when Allen wins the nod in the 2008 primaries. Rudy won't even bother, frist is a joke, romney will get laughed out of the primaries. I guess that leaves brownback (not a prayer). Of course you have the pence fans on here, but pence wouldn't even run for majority leader because he had small children, do they honestly think in 2 years he will run for the presidency? (not to disparage pence here, i like him alot and would love to see a president pence someday, but hes not a candidate in 2008.

It'll come down to allen and mccain, given mccain couldn't win last time with democrats help hes not going to win this time when democrats are tied up in their own primary. lets not forget that allen has the backing of a lot of talk radio (rush and hannity for example) and his support is growing in the blogosphere. Keep whining and tossing your petty attacks, they will ultimately do little. Have the last word if it makes you happy, i've got better things to do today then beating a dead horse.

Giuliani is to the left of Bill Clinton. He could win a Dem nomination, maybe, but will never win the GOP nomination.

McCain is an anti-freedom freak. He couldn't even win NH now.

Romney is a stonecold liberal. His MA socialized medicine blew open his short-lived masquerade as a 'conservative'.

Any ambitions Sam Brownback had died on the immigration hill.

George Allen's phony positions on abortion, gays, stem cells, guns and the borders disqualify him for consideration.

Mike Pence is a conservative hero. Whether he'll be willing to risk his entire political career (as a House member who has to run every two years) on a presidential run is doubtful.

So, many of us are still looking. Sorry.

Good thing we're still two years out.

Oh, I forgot Frist.

He's better than most on that list, though far from perfect philosophically.

But, in any case, he seems to be lacking the fire in his belly for today's all-out policial warfare.
