If they do stay home and boycott and there's not a noticable difference, that might really hurt them.

Also, my guess is the planning originators of this event really do not care about illegals. This is based on the fact that as a law abiding owner of businesses located within California, I have not, I do not and I never will employ an illegal alien. Believe me, I can tell a true American citizen in just a couple of minutes of conversation. Therefore, the boycott will have absolutely no effect on my businesses. The businesses that I can foresee having significant problems are those very businesses that employ said illegals. Therefore, the boycotter's are sealing their own fate by not only harming the illegal business that employs them, they will also help to illustrate to the legal American community just who those businesses are.

In Dallas, they are just going to shut down a chain of Mexican grocery stores that probably only Mexicans shop in. That's not going to hurt anyone but themselves.
