Lou Dobbs Tonight
DOBBS: Mexican lawmakers are on their way to Los Angeles to participate in Monday's boycott and demonstrations in support of amnesty for all illegal aliens in this country. The Mexican government lawmakers last night passed a resolution showing their overwhelming support for the demonstrations and boycott in the United States. All political parties in the lower house of the Mexican Congress approved the resolution. This is just the latest example of Mexican politics trying to influence U.S. policy and U.S. public opinion in the illegal alien amnesty debate.
Illegal aliens in this country and their supporters intend to severely disrupt the nation's economy and our schools with their boycott and demonstrations Monday. The groups will not consider their boycott a success unless they succeed in basically shutting down our cities and pressuring Congress to pass amnesty for all illegal aliens.

I have no problem whatsoever with Dobbs doing this, it's a very smart move for him. Marketing is everything for entertainers.
You might try to quit acting like a megalomaniac.
LOL! If you consider that before he took up this new position that Dobbs was much more interesting then watching paint dry....
When Aztlan comes into being, Mexicans will cheer and then look around and realize they don't know how to pour sand in a hole. They'll feel cheated and demand reparations and money forever, education, rebuilt infrastructure...sound familiar? Isn't that exactly what Fox has proposed? The US should 'invest in rebuilding Mexico's infrastructure'. In other words, rebuild their country from top to bottom, soup to nuts...and pay for the privilege of doing so.
Dear God.
Please, Protect us from all Oathe-Breakers and Traitors.
Before he took up this new position I thought that Dobbs was much more interesting then watching paint dry....
LOL!! Of course not. Carping, bitching and bellyaching sells well to other carpers, bitchers, and bellyachers.
On the contrary, you're providing fabulous entertainment to a lot of us.
As usual, Sinkspur indulges in his favorite pasttime, that of making insulting, nonsensical comments that add nothing to the discussion, other than to accomplish his primary goal of insulting Christians, conservatives and patriotic Americans who are concerned about our country.
I pretty much agree with your comments with only a caviot or two.
When it is mentioned that we need to allow more people in, I realize that this 'could' be another way to flood the nation with people from another nation.
I want diversity. I do not want a flood.
Right now we have regions of our nation that either are or have turned into enclaves of foreign soil. A foreign language is used. Services have to be provided in that language. Signage and other supports have to conform to that language. This is ill-adivised.
Immigration should be allowed on the basis of need and human rights. We should not allow immigration in ways that change our nation or parts thereof.
If we want to help out refugees, fine. We should devise ways that would allow acess, but diversify the influx. Allowing ten to twenty families per large town is fine. Allowing 50,000 to congregate in one local isn't.
We have severely impacted towns across this nation by poor administration of recent immigrants. I think we need to give a lot more thought to how we assimilate people.
I also have a problem with us flooding our nation with people from every nook and cranny of the globe. In Los Angeles the school system has to deal with around 165 different languages. Who in their right mind would find this reasonable?
We really do need to rethink this diversity thing. I've used this expression a number of times because it expresses my thoughts on the subject so well. Steak is great with a little salt and pepper. A lot of salt and pepper are not good with just a bite of steak.
LOL! So you're one of the six people in this country who thought Dobbs exciting to watch before.
Yes they do. There are a few idiots here on FR that can't stand anyone criticizing their hero.
BushBot Rule #1: Bush is Great;Bush is Always Right.
BushBot Rule #2: If you disagree with Bush, shut up and see rule #1.
You're dead on, "smart immigration." Where would these people relocate to? Maybe we have a say in that, esepcially if the people are refugees or fleeing a terrible situation - "anywhere" should do just fine, no need to flood a particular area. And there should be something in place once they are there - to help the community accept and the new comer assimilate. Charities and other groups could do that function.
If the Democrats should win a majority and try to impeach Bush, they would destroy themselves before they did Bush. Don't forget, it takes a two-thirds vote in the Senate and they'd never get it.
During the meantime, Bush would be allowed to provide statements from a myriad of other world leaders voicing the same fears he did of WMDs in Iraq. The U.S. public would see right through the Democrats.
I would say that the one area he might be justifiably exposed to trouble, would be his refusal to enforce Article Four Section Four of the U.S. Constitution. Still, how would a House or Senate fault him on that, when they hadn't passed one resolution urging him to do so.
We are faced with an invasion and many of our politicians want to just hand them citizenship, as if it were for sale and all but say, "Please take over this country."
I too have noticed that there a few of those who support the illegal aliens. When I first joined FR I got a lot more flack.
Thanks. I agree with your charities comment.
I would like to see this nation's populace weened off welfare. If anyone truly needs a hand up, there are cherities out there that will extend one.
What the liberals don't like about that, is that individual charities meet the person face to face. They can tell if a person is trying to help themselves. If they are, the charity will help. If they aren't, the charity will call them on it.
Here's an idea: Go find a dead horse to beat.
It would be a lie to deny what can be plainly seen, whether explained "rationally" or otherwise.
And....just think NAFTA.
