Good afternoon.
"Guns were not designed to be used as clubs."

One has to wonder why a bayonet lug is one of the features the gun grabbers hate so much. No, I guess you don't, do you.

My Mauser and my Enfield both make excellent spears and good clubs as well.

Does the US military still do bayonet drills? Do they still teach recruits how to do vertical and horizontal butt strokes?

Do they even mount bayo studs on the newer Jammin' Jennys any more?

Vertical butt-stroke with one of those plastic and aluminum mouse guns?
Yeah, right; try it and you'll have a handfull of broken and bent parts and an enemy who's either really pi$$ed off or laughing at you - while he cuts your throat either way.

It seems that in our new "high tech" military you're not supposed to get down and dirty with your enemy like that, eh? Tell that to our guys over in the sandbox!

Any wonder why they've been begging for a re-issue of the old M-14s?
