Rush clearly did, although Rush got a favorable deal with his "cop." My own view is that Rush was as guilty as hell, but of a "crime" that really does deserve a light sentence (and would have been ignored absent his celebrity I suspect, but then being a celebrity has its plusses and minuses, and Rush is a big boy, and knew that, or should have known that). I think justice was done.
If you are being flamed for observing that, then it is just a "kill" the messenger thingie. I would not take it as a personal slam myself.
