No really. Copping a plea means you plead guilty to a lesser charge. His charge will be dropped, and he will have no record or conviction. That's a face saving thing for the prosecutor, as is paying court fees.

And I would presume that Florida law would then allow the arrest to be expunged, thus making it legal for Mr. Limbaugh to claim, under oath, that he has never been arrested...

But .. according to the Palm Beach papers - RUSH DID NOT COP A PLEA - HE ANSWERED A WARRANT - NOT GUILTY.

How you can come up with he copped a plea by pleading guilty to a lesser charge I don't know. Please get your facts straight before saying Rush plead guilty to a lesser charge. Your statement is totally false.
