He plead not guilty. It is up to the Prosecutor to prove otherwise. He ain't doing it. Odds are that it was an Alford pleading meaning that he refuses to plead guilty, but acknowledges that a finding of guilty is most likely to happen in court. It has all the same consequences of a guilty plea, but instead of pleading guilty or nolo contendere, one simply pleads not guilty to avoid court, but accepts the consequences anyway. |
