Hey, lemme buy you a beer. How about a long-neck?
If I gave the impression that I think this is a non-issue, I did not mean to. I think it is very important.
In spite of my tagline, I do not agree with the President on this issue. I do trust him, though, and feel that he has reasons he considers valid for his position.
We've always admired Bush for not governing by polls, but now suddenly, we want him to do just that.
I just hope we get as good a man next time.
As for your wish list, dittos to everything on it!!!
But Bush is on the right side of almost everything you named except this one thing.
This issue is important. Hey, I hear you. But why is it suddenly a crisis??
But maybe the public panic will do some good; change some minds and so on.
I'm just not sure I'll vote for Tancredo and I certainly won't vote for a third party candidate, no matter who.
Being from Texas, I'm sure you remember Dallas Billionaire H. Ross Perot, who gave us 8 years of Mr. Clinton.
According to this poll not voting for the border party is voting for the democrats. The republicans are in a distant third. Boy do I love throwing the bush bots logic back in their respective faces.
IT ISN'T SUDDENLY A CRISIS!!! Jesus, man, maybe you haven't been bothered by it, but legions of us Americans who are watching our country get run over by illegals have been bitching about it for years, only to see it get worse every day. Illegal immigration has been an absolute disgrace under the Bush administration and our President cannot ignore that fact.
Only because there is an upcoming election did the pols start listening, especially after getting feedback from their polling data. Typical pols decided they could address our concerns by placating us with a bullshite unenforceable bill, which was a huge insulting dud. D.C. pols are too stupid and out of touch to realize what's going on in their own districts.
We're serious and refuse to be insulted with b.s. bills that are impossible to enforce. WE JUST WANT OUR BORDERS FIRMLY SECURED, but most of our reps continue to be tone deaf, which is why Tancredo is so appealing. At least he gets it.
