The part I am really not understanding is the perception that democrats have emphasized "enforcing the law". Is it just me?? I would swear the democrats are NOT in favor of enforcing the immigration laws.

I think a missing part of the equation is just what do those polled mean by "handle" the issue. One person's idea of handling the issue might be a guest worker program while anothers may be a wall.

but where is the rebuttal message on that from our side, telling americans that? its non-existent for the most part.
