I'm coming to believe more firmly all the time that Islam does have a prophetic role in forming the army fighting against God at Armageddon.

They're already fulfilling prophecy in preventing the Jerusalem Temple from being rebuilt, which Christ said would not be done until His return, but surely Israel would have set out to do after it's re-creation in 1949.
