How can this type of treasonous activity be eliminated? The problem is deeper than McCarthy & Sandy Berger.

I disagree. They do not dismiss their right to free speech when they take the job. That's what I think too. Prohibiting them from making campaign donations isn't going to MAKE them nonpartisan. And that data being public record, is a good clue to where they stand.
