Any sympathy I had for New Orleans is completely gone now. If the people there can be so stupid as to vote for this guy after he has done nothing but display staggering incompetence then they deserve whatever it is they get.

if think 38% might be Nagins ceiling. If people liked him so much, why did 62% vote for other candidates?
Nagin will be reelected in the runoff. Just my opinion.

I was thinking about the spin the article's headline gave. The devil is in the details. Folks who skim or just read the headline are going to come away with a different impression, which was intended, I'm sure.

Judging from what I heard last night, it seems the only ones who did show up to vote were the ones who were bussed in.
That government, any and every government, is the answer to their prayers.
