How on earth can you claim that the Jews in the Ukraine "oppressed" the Cossacks and that is the reason for the pogroms?==
It is not me who claims it. It is Khmelnitskii cossacks who claimed it. Those claims is noted by thier historians.
They complained that jews was "factors" (means the
managers) of polish landlords. And Ukranian cossacks was double exploited by polish landlord and jews.
Jews held alckogol trades in Ukraine and sped alhogolism between them. And jews gave the money under high interest so created poverty.
