It is because they live in other countries and no need to defend it. In Israel jews progress as any other nation on Earth. Not better not worse.

I am Jewish AND serving in the USAF. In fact, I just tested for Master Sergeant and fully expect to make it a career.

America I count out. Because America is ONLY unique country where any ethnicity (jews or russians) may feel itself home.
Any other country on Earth INCLUDING Israel is ethnical country.

So I hail jews in Israel and russians in Russia. And both of them in America:).
