The NYers come down to FL for the low taxes. Then they get upset we have less programs and services, and proceed to vote in higher taxes.

The NYers come down to FL for the low taxes.

The retirees move there for the sunshine and to enjoy the kind of neighborhood socializing they used to have in the city before all their friends moved south before them. I don't think the old people care about taxes, most of them don't make enough to get hit hard by state taxes.
