14 years ago I had my roof redone. I remeber asking the roofers how much they got paid for what I think is dangerous work. They were then getting around $12-15 an hour, depending on who was senior. In the last month the roofing company that did my roof did two of my neighbors. Today the roofers all spoke spanish. Bet they were getting minimum wage. Point is no more working class English speaking Americans employed by the contractor, whose prices and I dare say profits are up. If anyone can't figure out the problem here, perhaps they really are to dumb to allow to vote Yeah the problem is that you wish to regulate roofing, due to what kind of "people" a contractor employs.
Did you ask your neighbors if they were satisfied with the roofing job.
OH BTW, why didn't you ask the roofers how much they were paid instead of your own innuendo.
