Actually current high energy prices is good for the long run for it will allow domestic and reliable energy sources to be competitive and developed.

The second one isn't worth dignifying with a response.
But people who earn $50,000 per year and have a family to support, can't afford to pay much more than we are now paying for energy. And their loss will be the economy's loss in the long run. They will stop spending money on anything except fuel, and necessities.
I'm well off, but unlike some other people, I know what its like to just get by.
There is no need to bash Bush on illegal invaders or the energy issue. He's doing quite an adequate job all by himself - as these numbers indicate.
And any cosmetic reworking of his staff will not rectify the situation unless there are some attitude adjustments in the administration's thought processes. And if not, ALL Republicans will be paying as hefty a price as he will in the long run.
