Uh maybe on his lapel every day. But nice try DUmmie troll.
As I understand it, he regretted signing that amnesty in 1986. Are you sure that he wanted to simply allow ILLEGAL aliens to swarm across our southern border in the name of free trade?
There's no reason why "step 2" can't be made step 1 and vice versa. All measures calculated to reduce illegal border-crossing to a minimum (whatever those measures may be) should be in place before consideration of any bill to legalize illegals already here. If the Republicans were to take that approach, they'd make so much more headway among the voters. What possible reason is there not to?
Was he wearing his lapel pin in every picture in Mexico?
Reagan signed it, thus is a "coward/traitor" to the immigration crowd on FR.
See how easy seeing things in black and white is.
Have no idea, but if you wish to be the American flag fasion cop on FR, be my guest.
I can also tell you that President Bush wasn't burning the flag in Mexico.
I personally don't think he's a traitor; he just made a mistake. Bush is making another one, IMO. I believe in deporting them all, starting with those Mexican-flag-waving mobs of recent days. And my deportations would cover illegals of all races and creeds, whether they're being exploited--er, working as nannies and gardeners, or not working at all.
People say it's impossible to deport 12 million people. I would say, if we actually had the will and the spine to do it, deportation would soon follow, even if it took decades to finish the job. Remember Operation Wetback?
Uh Eisenhower didn't have to deal with 12 million and also remember the Haulocaust. Hitler deported 6 million and you wish to deport twice as many, most who are good Christian families, and did not demonstrate or probably agree with the leftist demonstrations.
** snort **
Let's keep things in perspective: Hitler killed TWENTY million (including the 6 million you mentioned). I merely wish to move 12 million without harming any. Their religion and morality ("good Christian" or otherwise) has nothing to do with it.
Operation Wetback dealt with 1 million illegals. This operation would deal with 12 million. It's merely a matter of scale.
40% Rats
32% Republicans
23% "Independents"
2% "Other"
3% None
If that is the case, then throw open the borders to all comers......millions upon millions and thrive, thrive, thrive.............allow the whole world to come pouring in.
"Far sighted strategy" my a**!!!
Need to know:
Were the applicants for that $6/hourw/no
benefits all bonafide Americans?
Men, Women?
Re the economy...the normal household today
requires two incomes; has since the 60's.
So, who is raising the kids? Or are there
no kids in the normal household anymore?
That is the main issue to me. All the others are side issues. If we lose the war on terror, what else matters?
And has been, for a while; sadly.
if we win the war on terror and lose the struggle against abortion, indecencey, the gay agenda, and Darwinism, we've won nothing.
That would be a start. Then what? We still have a problem with illegals eating away at our society. Not to mention the businesses that enjoy the cheap labor.
Sorry, I must be suffering from Demon critic fatigue. But you have to admit, having one of his crazy naysayers put in a position of conducting a successful WOT is interesting.
I hear the same type of crap here in Southern OH.
Gas prices are really hurting people. But people that blame Bush for everything under the sun are not being reasonable.
