Something needs to change. There's the filing deadline, and when one has to pay and you request a payment plan the late fees and costs are outrageous, usury.

We need tax reform.

And not nearly enough people have looked into it to see the benefits ... but that's changing all the time as it becomes more well-known.

The current tax code is not only senseless, it's cruelly unfair as well - and unnecessarily expensive. It's a nutty system that can't possibly be fixed by better-trained tax preparers. That's just a con by politicians who use the tangled code to cut tax breaks for their friends and add to the tax burdens of their enemies - in other words, the zany, inexcusable system empowers politicians who are loath to give up that power.

BUMP!

A Taxreform bump for you all.

If anyone would like to be added to this ping list let me know.

John Linder in the House(HR25) & Saxby Chambliss Senate(S25) offer a comprehensive bill to kill all income and SS/Medicare payroll taxes outright and replace them with with a national retail sales tax administered by the states.

H.R.25,S.25
A bill to promote freedom, fairness, and economic opportunity by repealing the income tax and other taxes, abolishing the Internal Revenue Service, and enacting a national retail sales tax to be administered primarily by the States.
