That is a false hood put out by the anti's black bear reagularly eat meat. They prey on the elk and deer fawns all the time. They well eat anything they can catch.

Depends on whether their natural food supply is depleted or not.

They're not the carnivores of the bear world.

Those would be the Polar Bears and Grizzlies that are the meat eaters.

But if black bears get hungry enough....they will eat meat.
