Sheesh. People in the south are supposed to have thicker skin that that. I know Yankees with more backbone and tolerance.

Generally, we do, but many large southern cities are susceptible to the same lib infestation you get in northern cities.

What's the correct Spanish word for underachiever?
To: Rebelbase
So is this 14-year-old here illegally? If she is, she SHOULD return to Mexico. Involuntarily, if she won't go voluntarily.
And somehow, I'd imagine a 19-year-old senior in high school really should be worrying about his grades rather than protesting. If he graduates, maybe he can become fry-cook supervisor at Mickey D's in two years instead of three. Unless he's here illegally, of course. Then he should become the fry-cook supervisor at a Mickey D's in Cancun, in Mexico, WHERE HE'S A LEGAL CITIZEN.

That about sums it up nicely. No intention of assimilating although the illegals will placate us when necessary with fake patriotism..

Yet the public remains split on what to do about the estimated 11.5 million to 12 million unauthorized migrants. One poll reports that 53 percent say people in the U.S. illegally should be required to go home, while 40 percent say they should be granted some kind of legal status that allows them to stay here. Sheesh...a clear majority think that illegals should go the hell home and that's characterized as a 'split' opinion? What would they consider a majority opinion? 100%? In my book 53-40 is a pretty decisive victory for the majority.

But students and Maria Hernandez, Vargas' mother, said her daughter was told Tuesday by other students that she should return to Mexico. The article leaves out an important detail... is she here legally (via citizenship or legal immigration)? If so, then this is an insult. If not, then this was a simple statement of fact.

My first guess? There was an exam that day. Instead of pulling the fire alarm, they stage a walkout.

So, if I break into the student's home, armed, to take what I want...or better yet, 'have them 'hand it over nicely', then that's not breaking a federal law is it? I'm really just trying 'to better' my life, right? People shouldn't look at me for dissin' the law. I've only reduced their standard of living by just a little.
Wake up people, illegal entry into this country is already a felony for adults 18 years or older at the time of entry on the books, it's just up to the judges/DA's as to prosecute it as such.

Here in Charlotte, we have a had quite a bit of trouble with drunk illegals driving the wrong way on the highways. This has contributed quite a bit to heightening tensions.

...her daughter was told Tuesday by other students that she should return to Mexico. And American kids are told all the time to "go back to Africa" or "go back to Europe." And these are kids in their own country, who've never been to Africa or Europe, being told to "go back there" by illegal invaders or the children of illegal invaders.

Go to any popular restaurant in a major metropolitan area, poke your head into the kitchen, and yell, "Federales!"
That's an "alleged remark" that will prompt a "Latino walkout."
