"That is possibly the only ticket that Hillary could beat." I would like to see a poll on that. Tancredo and Pence are excellant candidates, but can they win on a national scale. I doubt it at this time. Rudi can win according to early polls. We need a winner and if you show me Tancredo can "smoke" Hillary in a national election then bring it on.
There are 3 things about Rudy that will come out during the primaries: 1) Pro-choice 2) Gun grabber 3) Pro-gay-rights On the off chance that he makes it through the primaries, these three things will still become known nation-wide, and alienate him with 75% of Republican voters. Please keep in mind that these 'early polls' mostly include Dem voters, who will vote Dem anyways no matter who the pubbies nominate. Anyone from New England will have a very difficult time carrying IA, NM, AZ, OH, or NV right now.
Guess who will be Rudy's pick to try and carry the West as the second-half of the ticket? That's right... McCain. We need to start backing one of the outsiders from the West/Midwest RIGHT NOW, unless you don't mind seeing McCain as either our POTUS or VP candidate.
