Smith acknowledges the logo is tasteless, but he and his attorneys, part of Ralph Nader's Public Citizen Litigation Group, consider this a free speech battle.Well, that about says it all. I hope Wally wins.

I know it was a tragic event, but kind of humerous. I thought this is a fair rights issue, since it's obviously a parody?
To: Deek1969
from the article:
When Wal-Mart Stores Inc. found out, it requested a cease-and-desist order, calling the phrase and logo tasteless. Smith responded with a federal lawsuit in March asking a judge to decide if he can continue. Tastelessness is now actionable?

Well those guys are nowhere near enough big to be counted as true 'evil' corporations. They're lesser, or, semi-evil corporations. You're not truly eeeevil unless your market cap is over 100B.

Wonder if he would like to talk with some people that were in the Holocaust, maybe he wouldn't think it to funny then.
To: Deek1969
I wonder what Wal-Mart's lawyers think of
Wal-Martopia, a musical about the store (decent music, performed well, but the text of the show is counterfactual propaganda; Act 1 was dreary, but Act 2 was at least amusing)

"Poor taste is nothing compared to immorality," Smith, 48, of suburban Conyers, wrote on his Web site Is it not immoral to mock victims of the Holocaust, comparing that to Wallmart?

I hope this guy loses that is a nazi eagle with a smiley face on it! Jewish people will be livid i bet!

Talking about Nazis gets liberals aroused. I meant they leave a wet spot. Too bad Evan Braun is dead. If she could run, Hillary would lose the Democrat Presidential Primary.

Wow! Whoever came up with the idea of this Walocaust crap has to have a max I.Q. of at least 3. We're talking a real rocket scientist here.
