I cannot stand that bloated drunken jackass.
"'I think we'll get an immigration law,' Kennedy said in his Senate office."
We've got immigration law, you corpulent sot. Enforce it.
"This is reminiscent of the civil rights movement,"
No it is not.
Will the MSM ask black citizens about Kennedy's comparison?
The face of Hispanic support for the bills is cracking in parts of the MSM.
Sure are going to piss off the African-American community with that bomb.
The immigration debate has nothing to do with the civil rights movement--those people weren't illegal aliens.
Here ya go.
I am surprised the drunken fool can see anything! This POS should have been jailed years ago when he killed an innocent girl by drowning her because he was to cowardly to save her or because he just wanted her dead. How anyone can vote for this jerk is a mystery to me.
comparing this to the civil right movement is a slap in the face to all african americans who stood for ending the wrongs of segregation in the 60s.
an illegal wanting amnesty is certainly not the same as an african american wanting civil rights that were denied to them by many states.
The booze has affected his brain.
Both the parties, the Congress and the president have failed us on the immigration problem. Confusion on them all for not resolving this in a fair way.
Sheesh....first it was the homosexuals as a "civil rights movement" and now it's the illegal aliens.....they SURE are desperate for votes.
Yeh, Right....all those Mexicans came in chains?
Horsehocky - this has nothing to do with civil rights, and everything to do with an invasion. Stop them, you spineless twit, or the people will!
If Kennedy and the RATS don't allow amendments to the Senate Bill and if there is no greatly increased border security then there will be no bill, period. Many Democrats are not happy either.
Translation: We democrats will all stick together. And we'll get the usual Republican saps to go along with us. Then we'll battle it out with the House by claiming injustice and civil rights and working families, etc and get most, if not all of what we want, no border and the welfare state of FDR and LBJ and RMN for all!
The Republicans in the House are stuck with the HR 4437, making it a felony to be an illegal alien, perceived as mean and unnecessary by the swing voters.
Meanwhile, the Senate Republicans have angered a large segment of the Republican base by not passing HR 4437 and proposing a guest worker program.
The Democrats want the issue in November.
