Good of you to say, I know I ignored a lot of posts but figured you would know why.
Why would you want to use such a term as "Wetback" except to incite? Seems you got what you wanted. Why not just point out the obvious? "Illegal is Criminal." I'm really not a fan of politically correct, but I also see no need to use derogatory terms when the simple truth is so much more powerful.
Here's pictures of the rally in Des Moines, IA

The socialist workers party was there too.
I called Kristinn a week and a half ago about trying to get a rally together. He was supposed to call me back but he never did.
Neither did he respond to a FReep mail I sent him.
Neither did he respond to a ping I gave him on a thread I posted about what we could do to counter the illegals.
I have pretty much given up that our side will do anything but write and call their politicans.
I might be in some of your photo's from that 1994 rally.
It's not "spite" - it's called holding a person responsible. If a republican senator refuses to act like a conservative then why reward him over and over for bad behavior?
No on is advocating voting for a democrat but many are going for a third party. Sure a democrat will probably get elected and would be slightly worse, but the GOP would get the message that Democrat-Lite Republicans will no longer be elected in conservative states.
Hey, if the GOP senate (can't blame the democrats on this one) wants to start cracking down on illegal immigration then they can keep their jobs - otherwise we will find someone who will.
What good is having a majority if that majority is totally ineffective in everything important and actually works against the people?
Being on the winning side may be enough for you, but most of us want to be on a winning side that actually represents us. We can have that, but not if the enablers keep putting the same tired Democrat-Lite senators back in office time after time.
I will always go by your creed ;)
Probably right, but we may not have to. The anti-war protests in 2003 and 2004 were far bigger than those for the war - it wasn't even close. Still, the war at that time was very popular with the people and carried Bush to reelection and even picked up seats.
There are two things that will sway the GOP and Bush to start acting sensibly on this matter -
(1)withhold money from the RNC and tell them why
(2)tell the RNC and individual senators that you will vote for a third party in the general election even if it leads to the election of a Democrat
Loss of power and all that elected officials understand. The GOP believes that they can govern any way they want and then just say "you don't want a democrat to win do you?" to get you to fall in line in November.
I just heard from Kristinn. He has gotten a rally together in D.C. on April 26.
God Bless him.
I offered him whatever help I can give.
Here's the link to his thread.

See my post above that I was dumb enough to post to myself in all the excitement.
Kristinn has gotten something together.
LOL, that's cute. I needed a laugh!
I'm not so sure that this issue is a plus for the DIMS..after viewing the rallies in DC today and the line of loser liberals and union bosses groveling for "votes" I'm not convinced that they gain anything...
BIG Trouble
THIS SUCKS !!!!!!
What have they got to lose?
The Dem Party is already in the crapper, 2006 isn't shaping up well for them at all, and the Anti-Bush sentiment isn't translating into Pro-Dem/Lib....
They are quickly getting down to Voter Fraud and Illegal Voters as their only hope...
I need to use up my Delta miles fast!!
