Her lie fomented both anger and violence. Her lie used police resources that could have been used elsewhere. Her lie meant parents had to pay attorneys to represent their sons in the face of her unfounded charges. Her lie exacerbated the town vs gown situation and poisoned any hope of bettering the community. Her lie has undoubtedly caused many potential students to avoid Duke University and go to other colleges. Her lie brought ruin to the Lacrosse team's chances of continuing and her lie robbed the coach of his job. Her lie even convinced some of unethical professors to make cutting remarks and embarrass the team members in class. One black professor even went national in a published essay condemning them all w/out any evidence but his own bias.
I understand that 3 team members were not even at the party...they were in NYC having interviews at the time of the party, but they still had to give DNA. The companies interviewing them turned them down for the jobs they wanted.
Nifong and the panting and rushing to judgment media have much to apologize for.

With DA and prosecutors like Nancy Grace, Kimberly Guilfoyle, and Nifong.. I mean they don't stop at anything and they make up their minds in 2 seconds and then railroad the defendant ... What if these guys couldn't afford the lawyers they had.
These people are the worst kind of .... they are truly dangerous. There's no excuse for Nifong not looking at all the evidence objectively.
