I got the impression these guys are not going to take much crap off Nifong.

Lemme guess, Nifong is a dim ? He sounds a tad bit like a knee-jerk reactionary as opposed to reasonable professional amd has publically painted himself into a corner.

I'm glad the defense attorneys are not impressed, IMO, this story seemed fishy from the start.

I think Nifong came out of the gate, shall we say, WAY too early on this; my opinion is that he saw it as a way to get himself elected (he was previoulsy appointed) in the upcoming primary, which is in a few weeks.

I'm thinking he might have made a strategical error -- like a career ender.

He couldn't have been MORE positive in his accuastions if he had tried.
