I have read stories of parents deserting their kids to come here for work. (Now they claim they are "slaves".) Then, the kids come looking for their parents at terrible peril. Sick. Sick. Sick. What kind of person abandons their children like that? The kind that lack moral integrity &/or lack regard for civil obedience.
Dry up the jobs and illegal foreign nationals will go home.

I feel very badly for those in deep poverty. I can only imagine what those pressures can do to a man or a woman. But those pressures are in many ways of their own making. Theirs and the governments who rule over them and as a wise man said "...Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed, ..." They need to look to themselves first. The poverty in Mexico and Latin America is horrible but their are probably a half billion or more in other places who are in far worse straits.
We do have some responsibility in that though. With Free Trade agreements and FNS we support the ruling elites there. It makes me madder than a hornet that our Republican Country Club elitists gave China FNS with no regard to their human rights abuses. There is no compassion in that. It's the same selfish excuse the Dem/libs are using with this issue "if it fills their bellies and pockets they will be happy." The result is heartless.
I think that Tancredo said it best when he stated that we are "importing poverty". We are creating an underclass to do slave labor type jobs. How humane is that?? When these laborers become legal, employers will have to pay them more money. They will soon be replaced on the job by new illegals who will take less money. We will end up with 11 million uneducated, unskilled, LEGAL immigrants who will be entitled to welfare. It will cause a breakdown of the hispanic immigrant family. It's no different than what happened to black slaves after the Civil War. This is just sickening.
