It took me awhile to catch on ... and believe me, I'd rather still have that channel on than most of the others. BUT, whenever there is something big going that may go against party line, blah blah, all Fox does is cover murders or something else sensationalist to distract us. What kind of "news" coverage is that??? The country is practically in shambles, but we are only fed what "they" want us to hear.

Not that the other channels - other than Lou Dobbs on CNN - are any better. Thank goodness for the Internet and some other sources.

All of the major TV networks are pathetic and worse when it comes to informing the public honestly and fully. Having a few smatterings of reason in the form of Lou Dobbs, Sean Hannity and Brit Hume comes nowhere close to making up for the lack of responsibility overall.

Occasionally someone on FOX News will say "the media doesn't show you the good things happening in Iraq" but the network never gets around to doing it themselves. We, on FR, know through our direct contacts and wide-ranging sources that there are enough highly positive things going on in Iraq to keep a news station busy 24/7 without any punditry.

If you wanted to throw in some punditry with it the situation in Iraq could be spun into the greatest military/political success in history. But who will ever know apart from those who are there living it? Not the American public.
